A good way to share your scrapbooks with family members is to digitize them and
have them printed into a hard cover shiny book. We can scan your pages for you. The
cost depends on how you want them scanned and the difficulty of your pages and embellishments. If your books have embellishments that will fall off when your page is
turned to lay on the scanner, then you should fasten them before bringing your book in.
Often books have things like feathers, hair locks, tiny chains, and other embellishments that create issues. We aim to digitize pages in the exact way they are presented. Also
if you remove your pages from the protected plastic, you will be able to determine if anything needs to be fastened. Also, it keeps your cost down because we don’t need to remove and replace the plastic. The other factor we would need to know is if you want your
scans at 300 dpi or 600 dpi. The exact page size scans at 300 dpi, double the size is a scan at 600 dpi. Once your book is digitized we can either make a new book for you or
assist you to find a system that you can build your book yourself.
The scans come out very nice and duplicating your books make fabulous gifts. You can even add more pages with new art right on your publishing site! The older photo albums with the black corners and writing below also can be digitized and reprinted. We do a lot of these for families.
