As each year passes, video tapes become harder to roll over the recording machines for digitizing. The tape itself looses the ability to run easily over the heads of the players. So, the tape may flutter, drag, or just not play. If the video was recorded in the LP mode or the SLP mode, then the tape is so slow that the problems become even worse.
There is no fast way to digitize video tapes. They have to be played and digitized in real time. If you still have video tapes that you treasure, call us to arrange your time to bring them in. We will convert your tapes to the new format so they can be preserved and played again.
